Jul 14th: 2007 Boston Tea Party

Please join the Virtual Boston ARTCC as we control live in Nashua, NH on July 14, 2007 for the 8th Annual Boston Tea Party. Beginning at 1pm (1700z), over 24 controllers will be plugging in from one location to provide top notch air traffic control services to VATSIM pilots and others to enjoy.

Pilots who chose to participate in this year's game of airport poker can win prizes from FlyTampa, Eaglesoft DG, FeelThere, HiFi Solutions, and others! No participation is required, but highly recommended.

Although Kai Tak has already turned into vacant land nowadays we can continue its life on VATSIM. Let's rock'n'roll and challenge the
famous IGS approach with our excellent ATC service.

Jul 13th: Western Canada's Friday the 13th Event

Western Canada's Friday the 13th Event is a joint event between Winnipeg (CZWG), Edmonton (CZVR), and Vancouver (CZVR), starting at 2400z (1900 CDT). Pilots will depart from Winnipeg (CYWG) and fly to either Calgary (CYYC) or Vancouver (CYVR).

Pilots who decide to land in Calgary will then be able to go on towards Vancouver. All FIRs will be staffed all night long and be ready for you!

Jul 7th: France - Couverture Complete

Offer your wives and children a ticket to the cinema, take the telephone off the hook, tell the neighbour you've run out of bread and sugar, give the pets a sleeping tablet, set the video to record your favourite TV programme, and..... come on the VATSIM network!

All the French controllers have been invited to participate actively in this evening of complete coverage of the France vACC. From Ajaccio to Brest, from Lille to Perpignan, wherever you fly in France there will be a controller!

Jul 5th: Now for something different - Finland CTR test

Do you fancy flying somewhere different, and helping a controller at the same time? There's a CTR exam taking place on EFES_CTR at 1800-2000 UTC. This position covers the whole of Finland, so no matter which airport you depart from, you will have an ATC service. Give our candidate reason to sweat!
